Introducing the OctoSauna, our next-generation prefab outdoor sauna designed to deliver an authentic Nordic sauna experience in a space-efficient, easy-to-install package. Engineered in Chicago by Thunder Domes, the OctoSauna blends traditional Finnish sauna principles with modern building methods using SIP panel technology.

Optimized Layout for Real Sauna Heat

• Designed with proper bench height and layout to ensure your feet stay above the heater stones, where the heat is.

• Full-body bench spacing (18" depth) and large interior allow for both seated and reclining use.

• Proper air gaps behind benches and cladding for natural convection and even heat distribution.

SIP Panel Construction for Easy Setup & Thermal Efficiency

• 6 wall panels + 3 roof panels made from Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), pre-assembled with:

  • Vapor barrier

  • Insulation

  • Interior tongue-and-groove cedar

  • Durable exterior finish

• Fasteners, trim, and pre-cut bench materials included.

• Typical assembly time: 3-6 hours with basic tools. One-person install possible.

High-Quality Materials

• Interior: Tongue-and-groove western red cedar for warmth, aroma, and moisture resistance

• Custom door with hand-built cedar frame, latch, and handle

• LED lighting beneath benches (included)

• Optional: 15"x15" tempered glass window, exterior slatted cladding
